How good is Skype

I have used Skype for more than 2 years. I would like to say Skype was very important in my life and still is.

Skype is an eBay company. It provides a non-traditional communication ways for users. You can use Skype to make free video and voice call, send instant messages and share files with other Skype users around the world.

You also can use Skype to call any landline and mobile phone. It's not free. Compared to traditional international communication service, it would be a lot cheaper. The quality of voices is very good. Even it's cheaper than traditional ones, you still need to be careful when you use Skype to call abroad. For different countries Skype have different charge. I found it's not very cheap if you call people in Middle East from the UK. So be careful.

What you need is a computer with internet connection. Become a member of Skype and download its communication file then start. It's very easy to install and use. Even my parents who had no knowledge about computer and internet before, have learnt it and used it freely. Now we even use the webcam to talk and see each other on Skype. After they saw me on Skype, they don't worry about me. Because the time difference, sometimes they left me messages. When I log on Skype at my time, I can get their messages on time. It's really amazing and very useful.

Overall, I would like to say, using Skype is an economical and efficient way to contact friends and family from abroad. Many companies in the world have similar business, but Skype is one of the best.
